Companies across the EU need research and development to stay competitive on the global market. This is especially true in countries as highly industrialised as the Czech Republic and Germany. At the same time, researchers and research institutions look for companies to test and implement their ideas.

The Czech-German Day of Applied Science aims at helping both science and industry to find the right partners and appropriate financial support for mutually fruitful cooperation.

The conference will shed light on the political strategies and priorities of both countries in research and development. It will provide a detailed overview of supporting schemes, funding programs and upcoming calls.

Throughout the day experts and decision-makers from research, public administration and business will have the opportunity to share knowledge and build new partnerships. Various forms of cooperation between research organisations and private companies as well as cross-border research projects will be showcased.

The whole conference aims at creating an interactive space for the exchange of ideas and a platform for match-making.

The working language will be English. Registration is possible until 28 January 2019 (see the registration form below).
